What happens on the day

The pandit performs a Ganesh puja at the threshold, a vastu puja for the house, and a havan. Milk is boiled over on the new stove. About three hours.

What to prepare

Tell your pandit if you are in an apartment: a havan needs a room where the smoke alarm can be isolated, and many strata buildings do not allow open flame at all. This is worth settling before the date is set, not on the morning.
